The reserach project
This survey is an integral part of the research project “Regulating pesticide use in Uganda – a policy analysis”, funded and executed by the Swiss Federal Research Institute on Aquatic Science and Technology (EAWAG) and the Institute of Political Science (IPW), University of Bern, Switzerland.
The survey
With this survey, we strive to deepen our knowledge of pesticide management in Uganda. Most importantly, we would like to understand better, how the relevant stakeholders evaluate different measures to reduce pesticide risks and promote farmers’ safe pesticide use. Furthermore, we are interested in how these stakeholders collaborate to develop, introduce, implement, and evaluate pesticide regulation. The survey provides you with the opportunity to express your attitudes and opinions related to pesticide management and regulation in Uganda.
Your organisation's role
To our knowledge, your organisation plays a central role in pesticide management and/or regulation. Hence, your participation in the survey is essential for the success of the research, while providing you with the unique opportunity to express your organisation’s perspective on this important topic.
When answering the following questions, we kindly ask you to take in the perspective of your organisation: please answer the questions as representative of your organization and set aside your personal opinion as an individual.
Confidentiality and questions
